Scope of Services
Health Care Relocations offers a variety of services specifically tailored for each of our clients. You may choose from a variety of services all of which focus on making your move a smooth transition to the new location.
Planning, Scheduling and Physical Relocations:
Health Care Relocations will plan the sequence of your move by attending advanced planning meetings to involve all stakeholders with their specific considerations and requirements. We become an extension of your facility by conducting on-site department meetings to effectively and efficiently plan for all relocations of your healthcare facility. Health Care Relocations will supply all labor, transportation, moving equipment and supplies for the physical relocation. HCR will also assist with packing and unpacking, facilitate the physical relocation and set in place all relocated items. Additionally, we will complete the removal, relocation and reinstallation of wall hung items. Our focus during the physical relocation is to limit the labor burden on your staff allowing them to maintain their normal duties.
Transferable Equipment:
From our experience, many healthcare facilities re-use many key pieces of furniture, fixtures and equipment such as OR lights, Refrigerators /Freezers, Ice Machines, Lab Equipment, Sterilizers, etc. In order to maximize dollar savings as well as minimize personnel involvement, Health Care Relocations will take the responsibility of uninstalling, relocating, and reinstalling all equipment designated for relocation. All mechanical, electrical and/HVAC requirements will be verified for each piece of equipment. Health Care Relocations will work in conjunction with vendors and suppliers to organize timelines for equipment testing, certification/calibration on site after the relocation of each piece. Our familiarity and experience with relocated items ensures their safety during handling, packing, transporting and unpacking. All of our employees recognize the sensitivity surrounding your relocation and realize that the transport and care of each and every item is of the highest priority.
AutoCAD Layouts:
Health Care Relocations can determine if re-usable office furniture can be moved to your new facility. From our experience, we are aware that office space is downsized in most new healthcare facilities. This poses the challenge of trying to map out what furniture can be re-used in which location at the new facility. By using architectural drawings to determine new room dimensions, Health Care Relocations will create a re-usable furniture layout for each end user that is moving re-usable furniture into their office. With pre-design layouts and user input we can determine which pieces of re-usable furniture will be left over; thus creating a pool of resources to draw from. This service is completed by conducting interviews with departments and furniture consultant and physically measuring and cataloguing furniture. Reusable furniture layouts are created using the facility's master drawings. This allows you to purchase the right amount of new furniture, ensures that the reusable furniture will fit into the new office location and determines how that furniture will be configured in new location.
Installation of Owner Purchased / Owner Inventoried Equipment
Health Care Relocations can manage the receipt, inventory, assembly, asset tagging, placement and installation of new healthcare assets that arrive to be outfitted in the new location. HCR can coordinate local warehousing as a central storage depot. We will store, inventory and prepare the new healthcare assets before your new location is ready to be outfitted. Once your new location is ready to be outfitted, we will deliver the various items to the proper location and install them where applicable. We will create mock rooms and work together with your staff to determine appropriate heights and placement of all items to be installed. By assigning HCR to this task, we will be accountable for all these items and ensure that your facility is properly outfitted before it becomes fully operational.
Consolidation
Post-move many facilities face the challenge of managing redundant assets that are not relocated to the new facility. Health Care Relocations will disassemble, move and place all like items into centralized locations as agreed with the facility for building decommissioning. We will inventory all remaining items so you know exactly what you have allowing you to effectively manage your redundant items.
