Bronson Methodist Hospital, Bronson Health Care Group. Kalamazoo Michigan

This move took place over 4 days and was approximately 75,000 square feet in size. Through departmental meetings and the development of a move calendar and various move related information we completed a seamless move to the new facility. Departments and areas relocated included: Anti-Partum, Mother Baby, NICU, Education Space, Fridge Room, Formula Room, Pump Room, and PACS Room. Furthermore, we also assisted and consulted with the Bronson move plan team to develop; a patient move schedule, patient move routes and a security command structure for patient move.

Baptist Health South Florida, Homestead, Florida

This move took place over 10 days and was approximately 275,000 square feet. We worked with the Baptist Health transition team to plan and development a move schedule to relocate the new facility that was located about 10 miles away. We also provided consultation services on the physical relocation and patient move. Departments relocated included but were not limited to: OR, Radiology, Day Surgery, Lab, ICU, PCU, Emergency Department, Labour and Delivery, Cardiology, TSU, Inpatient Belongings, Pharmacy, Medical Records, Food Services, HR, Executive Offices, Administration, Infection Control, Performance Improvement, Organizational Learning, Engineering, Materials Management, Gift Shop, Volunteers, Admitting, Information Technology, Foundation, and Pastoral Care.

Scarborough Surgical Center, Scarborough/Portland, Maine

This move involved the planning, scheduling and physical move of 5 OR's from the main hospital campus to a new surgery centre with 10 OR's located 20 minutes away in Scarborough Maine. The move to the new facility was seamless taking place over 3 days and involved moving the OR's, Pre and Post Operation Space, Central Sterile Department, and associated office space.

William Osler Health Centre - Brampton Civic, Brampton, Ontario.

This relocation project has been our largest project with 1.3 million square feet of space at the new facility. This move took place over three weeks; the planning taking place over two years. Two hospitals were relocated into the new modernized facility which was located 15 to 30 minutes. This project required extensive planning and scheduling and we worked with the facility to develop move plans and a move calendar. Departments relocated, included but were not limited to, Library, CSR, I.T., Occupational Health, Volunteers, Mail Room, Nursing Division Offices, Administration, Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory, OR's, PACU, Foundation, Pharmacy, Day Surgery, Physiotherapy, Bio-Med, Respiratory, Endoscopy, Mental Health, Kidney Care, Ambulatory Care, Emergency, Admitting, Blood Collection, Oncology, Cardiac Rehab, Outpatient Clinics, etc...

Children's National Medical Center, Washington, DC.

This relocation involved advanced planning, scheduling and the physical relocation of Infants and Children's in-patient units. Items were relocated other offsite locations to the new site. Units relocated include Hematology/Oncology, File Room, Neurology, PICU, Surgical Care, Heart and Kidney, CICU, Case Management, Child Life, Social Work, Laboratory, Pharmacy, and assistance with the relocation of patient belongings and critical care items during the patient relocation.

Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, New Brunswick.

This move was logistically challenging as it involved moving two facilities (each located approximately 25km away) into a new hospital located in between the two existing hospitals. Health Care Relocations prepared for the move by providing scheduling and advanced planning. Also HCR provided high-tech hospital equipment verifications and vendor coordination in advance of the move. Atrium Medical Center, Middletown, Ohio.

This move took place over 14 days and included advanced planning, scheduling, physical relocation and the consolidation of redundant hospital items. This move involved moving the main hospital and an outbuilding into the new hospital which consisted of main facility and three outbuildings. Furthermore, Health Care Relocations provided consultation services and verified disconnects and reconnects of high tech medical equipment.
