Bloorview - Kids Rehab. Toronto, Ontario, 2006

This move took place over 4 days and entailed moving Bloorview into a new six-floor, 353,000 square foot facility. We worked with Bloorview staff to plan and execute a smooth transition into the new facility. Through interviews and advanced planning meetings we created a move plan and calendar to provide the most possible direction to move into the new facility. Departments relocated included but were not limited to Occupational Health, Respiratory Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, Elementary School, Information Services, Housekeeping, Food Services, Building Services, and Materials Management.

Royal Ottawa Health Care Group. Ottawa, Ontario, 2006

This relocation involved advanced planning, scheduling and the physical relocation of the entire existing facility and associated outbuildings to the new adjacent facility. This move included the relocation of the Library, Carillion Offices, GBZW Group offices, Information Management, Recreation Therapy, Gift Shop, Coffee Kiosk, Hair Salon, Patient And Family Resources, X-Ray, In-Patient Offices, Out-Patient Offices, Occupational Health as Safety Offices, Mail Room, Nursing Administration, Human Resources, Food Services Offices, Forensic Out-Patients, Communications, Administration, Learning and Development, Switchboard, Pharmacy, Chapel, All in-Patient offices, Substance Program, Mood and Anxiety Disorders Program, Occupational Therapy, Patient Relations, Volunteers, Admitting, Foundation, Youth Program, Geriatric Day Hospital, Schizophrenia Out-Patients and Clinic, all Inpatient Units, Vein puncture, Medial Records Offices including the packing, relocation and unpacking of all medical records, Transcription, Maintenance Building, and the relocation of Labs from University of Ottawa Vanier Building. We also assisted with the planning and relocation of all patients.

St. Joseph Medical Center. Reading, Pennsylvania, 2006

This relocation involved relocating the existing site into the new replacement facility (426,000 square feet). Our work involved move planning, sequencing, transferable equipment verifications, physical relocations, wall hung installations and patient move planning and relocation assistance. Departments relocated include Housekeeping, Security, Open Heart Offices, Administration, Nursing Administration, Auxiliary, Volunteers, Medical Staff Offices, Case Management, Purchasing, Engineering, Information Technology and Telecom Offices, Biomedical Engineering, Human Resources, Finance, Infection Control, Performance Improvements, Medical Records, Laboratories, Emergency Department, Mission and Ministry, Dietary, Admissions, IV Therapy, PCU, Pediatrics, Education, Woman’s Center, Pharmacy, OR’s, PACU, Sterile Processing, Radiology, In-Patient Units.

Sick Kids Hospital for Sick Children. Toronto, Ontario, 2006

Our work with Sick Kids is on going. This relocation involved mostly moving Lab space into the Toronto Medical Discovery Tower (TMDT). This move was complex requiring advanced planning, transferable equipment verifications, risk management, and the actual physical relocation to move approximately 50,000 square feet of lab space.

Gordon and Leslie Diamond Health Care Centre. Vancouver, British Columbia, 2006

This move took place over two weeks and was very involved. It required complex planning and advanced execution of relocation to provide an efficient transition into the new facility. Departments relocated included but were not limited to: cardiac rehabilitation, clinical skills, neurology, gastroenterology, hepatitis program, doctors residence (general practice), orthopedics, complex pain and joints, geriatric medicine, urology and prostate, gynecology, women's clinic, trauma unit, dietician, dermatology, endocrinology, kidney clinic and the UBC library.

Vancouver General Hospital - Centennial Pavillion. Vancouver, British Columbia, 2006

This move took place over a week and involved planning, risk assessment, time management and the execution of the relocation. Departments relocated included the Geriatric Psychiatry Outreach Team (GPOT) and STAT program. This move involved the relocation of two floors of the Mental Health Centre into the newly renovated space of the centennial pavilion.

University Health Network. - Toronto, Ontario, 2006

This is an ongoing relocation which involves moving various buildings associated with the University Health Network into the Toronto Medical Discovery Tower. Our work includes moving principal investigators, their offices, labs, and staff. This requires highly specialized planning and execution of our relocation services. Equipment relocated within labs and departments includes specialized lab equipment such as: microscopes, air tables, lab desks, freezers, incubators, refrigerators, centrifuges and various specialized lab equipment.

Stan Cassidy Centre for Rehabilitation. Fredericton, New Brunswick, 2006

This relocation took place over 8 days and involved moving the old facility into a new building which is connected to the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton. Our work encompassed the planning, risk management, equipment verification, and execution of the relocation of the Stan Cassidy Centre. Moreover, we relocated several labs located with Everett Chalmers into the new adjoining building. Departments relocated included but were not limited to pathology, lab administration, lab library, bio-chemistry, cytology, transfusion, histology, hematology, administration, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, recreation, adaptive driving and seating, admitting, medical records pediatrics and food services.

Aultman Health Foundation. Canton, Ohio, 2006

This relocation involved relocating the existing site into the new replacement facility. Our work involved move planning, and sequencing, transferable equipment verifications, relocations and installations. Departments relocated include Emergency Department, Stat Lab, Chest Pain Center, Cauterization Lab, Vascular Lab, Transcription, Doctors Offices, Echo Lab, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Stress Lab, and EEG-EMG.

Southlake Regional Health Centre Newmarket, Ontario, 2006

This relocation was very involved and required intensive planning and the completion of many moves. 400,000 square feet needed to be relocated from some existing departments to temporary locations to allow for the construction of a large addition joining two separate buildings together. Our work entailed all relocation planning, including scheduling and sequencing of the moves. Through onsite department interviews we planned and physically relocated many departments to different locations out of affected areas and then back to the newly constructed infill building.

St. Lawrence Lodge Brockville, Ontario, 2006

This relocation involved relocating an entire 160,000 square foot retirement residence into the new facility. Through department interviews we completed the planning, scheduling and relocation of each department. Departments relocated included: Administration and Business Offices, Maintenance, Stores, Resident Storage, Housekeeping and Laundry Services, Dietary, Activation and Recreation, Nursing Offices, and Resident Lounge. Our work involved completing all relocation sequencing and execution of relocation.

This project involved relocating existing departments into a new 370,000 square foot attached facility. Our work entailed all relocation planning, including scheduling and sequencing of the moves. Through onsite department interviews we planned and physically relocated: Information Systems, Building Services, Seating, Prosthetics and Orthodics, Materials Management, Kinercircle, Health Records, Research, Rehabilitation Engineering, Registration, Foundation, Archive, Data Management, Quality and Best Practice, Library, Volunteer Resource, Reception, Dentistry, Finance, Planning, Senior and Medical Administration, Active Living Program, Education Services, Human Resources, Clinical Rehabilitation, all Laboratories, Communications, Myoelectrics, Creative Arts, Music Studio, Out-Patient Clinics, Family Services and Housekeeping.

This project involved relocating existing departments into a newly constructed 325,000 square foot detached facility. Our work entailed relocation planning, including scheduling and sequencing of move. Through onsite department interviews we planned and physically relocated Imaging, Switchboard, Medical Affairs, Quality Services, Environmental Services, Information Services, Education Services, Material Management, Colleague Relations, Engineering, Library, Case Managers, Conference Rooms, Gift Shop, Imaging, Dietary, Administration, labs, OR’s, Pharmacy, Transcription, Histology, Cytology, Cardiac Rehab, Registration, Residents, Print Shop, Medical and Surgical in-patient units, Rehab Gym, Obstetrics, PCU, ICU, ER, Medical Records offices and files, Anesthesia. Chapel, Pastoral Care, Central Steril, Therapy Gym, Physio, Sleep Lab, Registration, PACU, Stress lab, Laundry, Day Surgery, Cashier, and Inpatient Units.
