This project required the relocation of many departments, from various locations into a 440,000 square foot building, the Yawkey Center. Our scope encompassed advanced planning meetings, file integration, detailed scheduling, and the co-ordination and execution of transferable equipment. The physical relocation included, but was not limited to: Financial Services, Rheumatology, Ort hopaedics, Echo/Cardiology, Child Psychiatry, Paediatrics, Radiology, Nuclear Cardiology, and Women’s Health.
South Jersey Health System Bridgeton Hospital and Newcomb Hospital, 2004

Prince County Hospital Summerside, PEI, 2004
The Prince County Hospital project required the relocation of the existing facility into a new 102 bed, 200,000 square foot facility. Our work included advance planning meetings and detailed scheduling. The physical relocation included but was not limited to the following departments: General Medical, Palliative Care, Restorative Care, Surgery, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Intensive Care, and Intermediate Care. Health Care Relocations was also responsible for the coordination and execution of transferable equipment as well as asset consolidation
Providence Health Care Vancouver, British Columbia, 2004
This project required the simultaneous shifting of four separate sites and several out buildings, in order that Providence Health closes one facility. Wanting to have shared programs in the same building. Health Care Relocations assisted in the identification of shared programs, created the detailed master schedule, held detailed departmental interviews and information sessions. Our scope also included providing AutoCAD and database Management services for re-usable office furniture, the planning and coordination of transferable equipment as well as the transfer of over 200 patients. Providence Health also used HCR for the consolidation of remaining hospital assets. The physical relocation included but was not limited to the following departments: Nutrition, OR’s, Central Steril Departments, Labs, Pharmacy, Health Records, Cysto Clinic, Orthopaedics, Administration, Physio Therapy, Radiology including files to name a few!
Thunder Bay Regional Health Services Centre Thunder Bay, Ontario, 2004
The TBRHSC project required the relocation of two facilities and several out building into the 750,000 square foot facility. Our work included advance-planning meetings, detailed scheduling, as well as providing patient relocation experience and determining optimal move routes. HCR also disassembled all re-useable systems furniture and reassembled at the new facility. The Phyical relocation included but was not limited to the following departments: Neonatal ICU, Pediatric Inpatient / Outpatient, Labour and Delivery, Central Processing, Cancer Care Radiation, Mental Health In/Out patient, Nephrology, Cardiology, Cardio Respirator, Surgical Suites, Endoscopy, Neurosurgical, Health Records, and Administration and Executive offices. HCR was also responsible for the coordination and execution of transferable equipment as well as asset consolidation.
Brant Community Health System Brantford, Ontario, 2004
This relocation involved moving departments into the new 200,000 square foot attached facility. Departments relocated included: Central Sterile Recovery, Laboratories, Pathology, Microbiology, Surgical Services, Imaging, Pre-OP Clinic, Labor and Delivery, Pediatrics, OR’s including the removal and reinstallation of 6 OR lights, PACU, Day Surgery, ICU, CCU, Ambulatory Care including fume hood relocations, Woman’s Health, Endoscopy, Oncology, and Pharmacy including biological safety cabinet.
