Vancouver General Hospital Vancouver, British Columbia, 2003

This relocation involved moving departments and patients from the existing hospital into the new 850,000 square foot attached facility. Departments relocated included: Trauma, Urology, Gynecology, Cardiac Program, Social Work, Acute Medical Department, General Surgery, Nephrology, Neurology, Palliative Care, Spine, Respiratory, Thoracic, and Orthopedics. Our work involved detailed scheduling, determining move routes and the physical relocation from numerous outbuildings. We were also responsible for coordinating and equipment installations, the scheduling and physical relocation of over 500 patients.

Toronto General Hospital, 200 Elizabeth St. Toronto, Ontario, 2003

HCR was given the job of infilling the New Clinical Services Building form other areas of Toronto General Hospital, a 2,000,000 sq ft facility. Departments included the transfer of Medical Equipment and office space from Endoscopy, General Surgery, Otolaryngology, Operating Rooms (22 rooms) CCU, CVICU, HCR was also contracted to provide AutoCAD services for office furniture layout

North York General Hospital Toronto, Ontario, 2003

This was the infill of the new attached Patient Tower and Diagnostic Centre (200,000 sq ft). This included such departments as NICU, Mother Baby Clinic, Obstetrics, Breast Centre, Operating Rooms (10 Theatres), General Surgery, General Medicine and Laboratory. This project took place over several months and these departments were relocated from various areas of the facility.

Fairhaven Home for the Aged Peterborough, Ontario, 2003

This relocation involved moving the existing residence into the new 215,000 square foot facility. Departments relocated included: Administration, Craft Group, Residents Programs, Dietician, Laundry, Foundation, Capital Campaign, Volunteers, Place of Worship, Computer Server Room, Finance, Beauty Salon, Café, Physio, Laundry, Kitchen, Auditorium, Recreation Room, Medication Rooms, Staff Lounge, Dining Area, Conference Room, and Reception. Our work involved detailed scheduling, determining move routes and all physical relocations. We were also responsible for coordinating and completing equipment installations.
